To help you make a more informed decision, Ramsey Mazda is comparing two iconic compact cars, the new Mazda3 and the new Honda Civic. New Honda Civic

Which Car Performs Better?

  • The new Mazda3 offers three lively engine options, ranging from the base 155-horsepower four-cylinder to optional 250-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder. The new Honda Civic only offers two powertrain options, neither of which delivers the power you'll get from the optional engine for the Mazda3.
  • You'll have the option to upgrade to an all-wheel-drive system on your new Mazda3, which will increase traction and ensure you can get around in bad weather. The new Honda Civic doesn't offer all-wheel drive; instead, it only comes with front-wheel drive.

Which Car has More Style and Features?

  • Both cars boast upscale interiors with exquisite craftsmanship. However, the new Mazda3 comes standard with front sports seats that provide ample bolstering to keep you planted when pushing the car to its limits. The new Honda Civic does not come standard with sports seats.
  • Inside the new Mazda3, you'll find an intuitive 8.8-inch infotainment display mounted on the dash, which is easy to control with the futuristic rotary knob planted near the gear selector. Inside the new Honda Civic, you'll find a smaller, 7-inch touchscreen on its dash.
